Zimplats Holdings (ASX:ZIM) said ore mined in the June quarter came in at 2.1 million tonnes, up 4% year-over-year from the 2 million tonnes of ore mined during the June 2025 quarter, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.

Mined volumes benefited from the improved availability of trackless mobile machinery and the South Pit Mine was depleted at the end of June.

Ore milled during the quarter was also 2.1 million tonnes, up 6% from the 1.98 million tonnes milled in the prior-year period, due to to improved mining volumes and stable plant operations.

The furnace is scheduled for major maintenance in September and October, leading to a build up in inventory, which is planned to be released by the end of fiscal 2027 third quarter.
