Taiwan Mobile's (TPE:3045) subsidiary, Taiwan Fixed Network, acquired a right-of-use asset by leasing an internet data center in Taoyuan City from VDC TPE11 LLC, Taiwan Branch (US), according to a Friday filing with the Taiwan Exchange.
The value of the right of use asset is around NT$8.98 billion.
The facility is intended to strengthen the company's competitiveness in the data center services market.
