Meta Platforms (META) stock selloff is due to a lower-than-expected Q3 revenue guide and no additional clarity on artificial intelligence monetization despite better Q2 revenue and operating income, Oppenheimer said in a research report emailed Thursday.

For the full-year 2026 and 2027, the brokerage said it now expects EPS of $30.47 and $31.69, respectively.

The brokerage said that the Street EPS for fiscal 2027 did not price in higher compute costs without a neocloud deal, limiting growth for the near future.

Oppenheimer said it reiterated its perform rating on the stock.
