Metals X Posts Higher Q2 Tin Production, Tin-in-Concentrate Shipment, Shares Up 4%

Metals X (ASX:MLX) said its Bluestone Mines Tasmania joint venture Renison Tin Operations achieved total tin production of 2,809 tonnes of tin-in-concentrate in the second quarter, with Metals X's 50% share totalling 1,405 tonnes, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.

In the second quarter of 2025, the company's Renison operations achieved total tin production of 2,724 tonnes of tin-in-concentrate, with Metals X's 50% share totalling 1,362 tonnes, an earlier filing showed.

The company said Renison shipped 2,827 tonnes of tin-in-concentrate for the quarter, with Metals X receiving 48.58% of tin-in-concentrate tonnes shipped, generating imputed revenue of AU$207.4 million and imputed earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) of AU$125.9 million.

In the same period last year, Renison shipped 2,202 tonnes of tin-in-concentrate, with Metals X receiving 52.3% of tin-in-concentrate tonnes shipped, the earlier filing showed.

Closing cash and cash equivalents were AU$374 million, after the payment of AU$28.1 million in income tax for 2025, it added.

The company's shares rose 4% in recent Monday trade.
