HSBC Holdings' (HKG:0005) group chief people and governance officer Aileen Taylor is planning to move to Hong Kong from London, Bloomberg reported Tuesday citing people familiar with the matter.

Taylor, who joined the bank in 2019, currently heads a team of over 3,340 employees and oversees governance functions, according to the report.

The lender has recently been increasing its operations in Hong Kong, a move solidified by the privatization of Hang Seng Bank, Bloomberg said.

The two banks are reportedly integrating administrative and operations functions in the city to boost efficiency.

HSBC did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for a comment.
