0125 GMT - WEB Travel's bull at RBC Capital Markets likes the increased certainty over the Australian travel booker's outlook more than its new on-market share buyback. The ASX-listed company's 1H guidance beat consensus for total transaction value, revenue and earnings, says analyst Wei Weng-Chen in a note. Chen thinks that WEB Travel's first-half revenue guidance suggests it anticipates top-line growth for the period despite recent strength in the Australian dollar. A new share buyback worth 90 million Australian dollars reflects the board's opinion that WEB Travel's valuation doesn't reflect its medium-term earnings outlook, Chen adds. RBC has an outperform rating and A$6.00 target price on the stock, which is up almost 14% at A$3.19. (stuart.condie@wsj.com)
