Rogers Communications (RCI) reported Q2 adjusted earnings Wednesday of 1.15 Canadian dollars ($0.82) per diluted share, compared with CA$1.14 a year earlier.
Analysts polled by FactSet expected CA$1.13.
Revenue for the quarter ended June 30 was CA$5.62 billion, compared with CA$5.22 billion a year earlier.
Analysts polled by FactSet expected CA$5.55 billion.
The company also maintained its quarterly dividend at CA$0.50 a share, payable Oct. 2 to shareholders of record as of Sept. 8.
