Garmin (GRMN) acquired the TrainingPeaks and TrainHeroic platforms, expanding its fitness ecosystem with coaching tools for endurance and strength athletes, the company said Wednesday.
Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
The acquired businesses connect athletes with coaches through digital training platforms and will enhance Garmin's coaching and performance offerings, it added.
