BP (BP) is in advanced talks to sell its solar power arm Lightsource to a consortium comprising Qualitas Energy, a private equity firm focused on green energy, and Wren House, the infrastructure arm of the Kuwait Investment Authority, Reuters reported Friday.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

The consortium is the final bidder and a deal is expected soon. However, the sale has not yet been confirmed and could fall through, Reuters reported, citing several people familiar with the matter.
