0207 GMT - Increases to CapitaLand Ascendas REIT's distribution per unit from its acquisitions are likely to become more visible from 2027 and could serve as a key catalyst, says RHB Research's Vijay Natarajan in a note. The Singapore real-estate investment trust's proposed sale of a vacant data-center asset at a hefty premium underscores its portfolio's value, he says. The REIT's rent increases should come in at high-single-digit percentage for 2026, boosted by the Singapore logistics and business space, and life sciences segments, he adds. Still, he says the trust's recent equity fundraising for its acquisitions could serve as a near-term overhang on units. RHB retains its buy rating and 3.00 Singapore dollar target price. Units drop 1.2% to S$2.49. (megan.cheah@wsj.com)
