Net sales for the quarter ended June 28 were $1.89 billion, down from $1.91 billion a year earlier.
Analysts expected $1.88 billion.
The company maintained its 2026 adjusted EPS guidance of $5.80 to $6.20, continuing to expect results at the low end of the range. Analysts expect $5.83.
Sonoco continues to expect 2026 net sales of $7.25 billion to $7.75 billion. Analysts expect $7.44 billion.
