Cloud services provider AwanBiru Technology (KLSE:AWANTEC) has received a one-year extension from the Malaysian government for its cloud framework agreement, according to a Monday filing to Bursa Malaysia.

The government, acting through the Ministry of Digital, has further extended the term of CFA 1.0, which was previously extended to June 30.

Its third agreement extension will be effective from July 1 to June 30, 2027, or until the successor agreement CFA 2.0 takes effect, whichever comes first.

The initial agreement was executed in March 2022 between the company's wholly-owned subsidiary, Awantec Systems, the Government of Malaysia, and Google Cloud Malaysia.
