0828 ET - Philip Morris International is spending more to grow its Zyn business as competition heats up. The tobacco company says it is accelerating its U.S. investments in 2H to maximize Zyn's long-term value. It expanded its portfolio of the nicotine pouches in June, with the first shipments of Zyn Ultra and additional flavors within the Zyn dry flagship lineup. It also plans to launch 1.5mg and 8mg dry variants in 3Q. "These launches are an important step in enhancing the portfolio and optimizing Zyn's price premium, ensuring Zyn can effectively play in the most dynamic growing segments of the category," the company says.
