GSK said its Jideytro treatment has been approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, making it the U.K. drug maker's first approved medicine in lung cancer.
Jideytro, or zidesamtinib, is a selective inhibitor for some adult patients with non-small cell lung cancer who previously received a targeted therapy.
The treatment is part of the portfolio GSK acquired in its purchase of Nuvalent earlier this year.
