0232 GMT - The Singapore dollar consolidates against its U.S. counterpart in the Asian session amid possible position adjustments. "Investors will continue to monitor developments in the Middle East alongside global trade tensions," two members of UOB's Global Economics & Markets Research say in a research report. Based on technical analysis, the U.S. dollar-Singapore dollar pair seems to have entered a range-trading phase for the next 24 hours, the two members say. The U.S. dollar is likely to trade between S$1.2890 and S$1.2920, they add. The U.S. dollar is little changed at 1.2907 Singapore dollars, FactSet data show. (ronnie.harui@wsj.com)
