Lynas Rare Earths' (ASX:LYC) rare earth supply deal with the US is facing scrutiny from a Malaysian parliamentary group, according to a Friday Bloomberg report, citing a statement from the group.
According to the report, a special select committee of Malaysian policymakers met on July 16 to review Lynas' role in the Pentagon's defense supply chain, where the session heard from the company's executives, among other participants.
Lynas did not immediately respond to an MT Newswires email request for comment.
