Shares of Regenxbio slipped after the company said it would sell $100 million worth of stock in a public offering.
The stock fell 17%, to $9.25, in after-hours trading Thursday, after closing 8.7% lower, at $11.20. The shares are down 22% year-to-date.
The company said it intends to give the underwriters for the offering a 30-day option to buy up to an additional 15% of the shares sold in the offering.
