Deutsche Bank (DB) has hired four private bankers from Standard Chartered, including Managing Director Eleftherios Sachanidis, as the German lender builds out its wealth management operations in Dubai, Bloomberg News reported Monday.

Sachanidis is set to report to Mubashar Ayoob, Deutsche Bank's head of the Gulf, with the group expected to support broader coverage of emerging-market clients, Bloomberg reported, citing an internal memo.

Deutsche Bank did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
