ASE Technology Arm to Acquire Hanmi Machinery For NT$1.07 Billion

Advanced Semiconductor Engineering, a subsidiary of ASE Technology Holding (TPE:3711), has agreed to acquire machinery worth NT$1.02 billion from Hanmi Semiconductor (KRX:042700), according to a Friday filing to the Taiwan stock exchange.

The machinery will be used for production and operation, the company said.

ASE's shares were down nearly 1% in recent trade in Taiwan, while shares of Hanmi fell almost 4% in Seoul trading.
