Molecular Partners (MOLN) said Thursday the first patients have been dosed in phase 2 study evaluating its experimental therapy, MP0317, in combination with chemoimmunotherapy as a first-line treatment for advanced biliary tract cancer, or cholangiocarcinoma.
The company said the study in France plans to enroll 75 patients to compare MP0317 plus standard-of-care treatment, including AstraZeneca's durvalumab and gemcitabine-cisplatin chemotherapy, with standard care alone.
The company expects a data update in 2027 and study completion in 2028, it added.
