Valion Bio Advances Entolimod Program with Government Engagement, Manufacturing Scale-Up, Oncology Supportive Care Plans

Valion Bio (VBIO) said Tuesday that it has advanced its Entolimod program through expanded US government engagement, a 200-fold manufacturing scale-up and plans to enter oncology supportive care.

The company said it continues discussions with BARDA, NIAID, AFRRI and the Department of Defense on Acute Radiation Syndrome preparedness, while also engaging with Ukraine on potential stockpiling.

Valion Bio said its unit, Velocity Bioworks, has completed a 200-fold manufacturing scale-up of Entolimod, equivalent to 1.3 million potential doses.

The company said it also plans physician-sponsored studies evaluating Entolimod for chemotherapy-related neutropenia.
