Stellantis's U.S. Sales are Worrying, Citi Says

Dow Jones
Jul 09

0935 GMT - Stellantis's U.S. sales performance in May and June has been very disappointing, Citi analysts write. While the headline monthly market share figures of 7.5% and 7.6% remain at the very low end of the company's 10-year U.S. performance, highlighting continued weakness, the model-by-model detail highlights further difficulty, the bank adds. Citi says that apart from a robust RAM performance and an unusually strong June for the Chrysler Pacifica minivan, the rest of the automaker's U.S. model portfolio remains very weak. The bank lowers its share target price to 5.50 euros from 7.20 euros and keeps its neutral rating. Shares rise 0.1% to 4.70 euros. (dominic.chopping@wsj.com)
