HF Sinclair has promoted Steven Ledbetter to president and chief operating officer, as the energy company moves to refill its executive ranks.

HF Sinclair on Wednesday said Ledbetter, 51 years old, joined the Dallas company as executive vice president of commercial in March 2023.

HF Sinclair's chairman, Franklin Myers, has been serving as president and chief executive on a temporary basis since Tim Go took a voluntary leave of absence in February.

Go subsequently left the company in May, as did former finance chief Atanas Atanasov, who had also been on leave since February.

HF Sinclair also on Wednesday said Valerie Pompa, previously executive vice president of operations, will now serve as president of growth, technology and transformation.

Myers will continue to serve as CEO on a temporary basis, the company said.
