AeroVironment Wins $30.9 Million German Unmanned Aircraft Order

AeroVironment (AVAV) said Tuesday it was awarded a $30.9 million purchase order to supply its Puma drone systems to the German Bundeswehr.

The contract from the NATO Support and Procurement Agency covers advanced payloads, ground control technologies, communications and autonomy kits for Germany's LARUS airborne reconnaissance program, the company said.

The agreement requires the company to finish equipment deliveries and provide specialized operator training by late 2026, AeroVironment said.
