Market Chatter: Criteo Receives Vista Equity-Backed Takeover Proposal

Criteo (CRTO) received a takeover bid from Vista Equity Partners and Quinti Capital, valuing the company at more than 50% premium to its share price level in recent weeks, Bloomberg reported Monday, citing people familiar with the matter.

Criteo is yet to decide on how to respond to the acquisition proposal and there is no guarantee a deal with be closed, sources told the media outlet.

Criteo's American depository receipts rose 21.8% on Monday trading.

Criteo declined to comment on the matter.
