Arafura Rare Earths (ASX:ARU) appointed Angela Bigg as chief financial officer, effective Aug. 31, succeeding Peter Sherrington, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.
Bigg will start with the company on July 13, while Sherrington will continue in his role until Oct. 31 to provide ongoing support and ensure a smooth handover of responsibilities, the filing added.
The company's shares shed 3% in recent Wednesday trade.
