1629 GMT - DHL Group's second-quarter EBIT beat consensus estimates by 20%, boosted by strong performance in the express business, J.P. Morgan analysts say. "While we expected a guidance increase, the 2Q EBIT beat was significantly higher than expected and we continue to see upside risk to estimates," with underlying trends looking up in the express business, they say. Even after adjusting for positive effects related to tight conditions in the air cargo market, EBIT at the German logistics company is 8% above expectations, J.P. Morgan says. Shares close 1.7% higher at 56.68 euros. (sarah.sloat@wsj.com)
