West Wits Mining (ASX:WWI) achieved financial close on its 875 million South African rand senior loan facility, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.
The first drawdown, provided by Absa Bank and Nedbank CIB, consists of 339 million South African rand, the filing said.
The loan fully funds the Qala Shallows gold project in South Africa through to steady-state production of 70,000 ounces of gold per year.
