Wallbox Closes $13.5 Million Equity Raising, Secures New Investment From Focus

Wallbox (WBX) said Thursday it has closed an equity raising of about 11.8 million euros ($13.5 million) and received a separate 4 million-euro investment from the firm Focus on Next Frontier.
The equity raising included the previously announced 10.7 million euros in equity financing and 1.1 million million euros from the capitalization of the original issue discount and paid-in-kind interest accrued under a bridge loan entered in April, Wallbox said.
The 4 million euro investment from Focus makes that firm a new shareholder in Wallbox, the company said.
Wallbox shares were 0.5% lower in premarket trading.
