Emerald Resources (ASX:EMR) executed letters of award with MACA Mining, a Thiess Group subsidiary, appointing the latter as preferred mining services contractor for Emerald's Dingo Range Gold Project in Western Australia and Okvau Gold Mine in Cambodia, subject to final binding agreements, according to a Friday Australian bourse filing.

MACA will deliver drill and blast, load and haul, run-of-mine crusher feed, mine development, and ancillary services at Dingo Range under a 74-month contract valued at around AU$562.5 million, with mobilization expected in December, per the filing.

The agreement at Okvau extends the March 2020 mining contract to include development and mining of stages 8 and 9, and extends the term through February 2030, the filing added.
