BKV Launches Operations at Two Texas Carbon Capture and Sequestration Facilities

BKV (BKV) said Tuesday that it has started operations at two new carbon capture and sequestration facilities in Texas during H1.
The Eagle Ford project, built through a joint venture with Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners, will produce 90,000 metric tons of carbon dioxide annually, the company said.
The Cotton Cove site, a co-development with Banpu Power US, will sequester a yearly average of 32,000 metric tons of carbon dioxide, the company said.
BKV now operates three commercial sequestration sites in the state, it said.
