Blue Moon Metals (BMM) said Wednesday it has awarded an engineering, procurement and construction contract to Momek Services for the processing plant of the Nussir copper-silver-gold project in Norway's Hammerfest municipality.

The company also said the project's waste management plan has been approved by the Norwegian Environment Agency, and the project's updated mine operating plan has been cleared by Norway's Directorate of Mines.

"With our permitting framework now complete, our long-lead equipment on order, our mine decline advancing to the orebody, and our key construction contracts in place, we are on track to deliver production later in 2027," said Blue Moon CEO Christian Kargl-Simard.

Blue Moon shares were up 1.8% in after-hours activity.
