ASE Unit Signs NT$829 Million Lease Deal for Land in Southern Taiwan Science Park

ASE Technology (TPE:3711) unit Advanced Semiconductor Engineering acquired land right-of-use assets worth NT$829.3 million in Taiwan's Southern Taiwan Science Park, according to a regulatory filing on Wednesday.

Shares slid over 2% in Thursday's late morning trade.

The lease, signed with Southern Taiwan Science Park Bureau, covers 84,207.65 square meters of land with a monthly rent of NT$3.17 million excluding tax. The lease term is 20 years.

The assets will support production expansion, it said.
