Barnes & Noble Education said its board commenced the previously announced quarterly dividend program, declaring a dividend of 8 cents per share.
Based on the closing share price of $11.18 on Wednesday, the 32 cents annual dividend represents a yield of 2.8%.
The new dividend will be payable on July 30 to shareholders of record as of July 16, the company added.
Barnes & Noble Education also said it was expecting fiscal year 2025 net income in a range of $15 million to $18 million.
