Xero Bull Sees Confidence Displayed in Price Rises -- Market Talk

0044 GMT - Xero's bull at Citi sees the accounting-software provider's latest price rises as evidence it is confident in its market position. Analyst Siraj Ahmed tells clients in a note that the Australia-listed company's U.K. targeted price rises will probably lift average revenue per user in that market by 5%. He reckons that supports his forecast of 4% U.K. ARPU growth in FY 2027. Ahmed notes that the U.K. price rises are skewed towards plans that received either a small increase last year, or no increase at all. Citi has a buy rating and a target price of 113.60 Australian dollars on the stock, which is up 5.8% at A$68.78. (stuart.condie@wsj.com)
