Deep Fission (FISN) said Wednesday that it has signed non-binding letters of intent with data centers, co-developers, industrial parks and strategic partners representing up to 18.5 gigawatts of potential nuclear generation capacity.

The agreements do not include obligations to buy power, finance projects or build facilities and can be terminated without penalty, it said.

Chief Executive Liz Muller said the growing pipeline reflects "urgent interest" in its mile-deep deployment model designed for rapid deployment and scalability.

The company is developing small modular pressurized water reactors installed about one mile underground.
