2353 GMT - Forsyth Barr is upbeat about the resolution of an independent review into SkyCity Entertainment's Adelaide casino in South Australia. SkyCity has agreed to pay a fine of A$21 million. Analyst Paul Laxton Koraua says this is meaningfully below both the maximum fine of A$75 million and his own estimate of A$50 million. Also, the instalment structure is favorable for cash flow. SkyCity will make three payments of A$7 million over three years. Forsyth Barr had assumed SkyCity would need to pay the fine in full in FY 2027. "More importantly, this outcome marks a major step toward closing out the key regulatory overhangs that have weighed on the Adelaide business," Forsyth Barr says. It retains an outperform call on SkyCity's stock. (david.winning@wsj.com; @dwinningWSJ)
