Delta Air Lines (DAL) will install a finlet modification package from Vortex Control Technologies on its Boeing (BA) 737-800 and 737-900ER fleet, Vortex said Wednesday.
The finlets lower flow separation and improve the pressure distribution along the aft fuselage, leading to lower fuel consumption and reduced carbon emissions, according to the company.
