Quantum Space Wins US Department of Defense Contract to Develop Orbital Fuel Depot

Quantum Space, which recently agreed to merge with Inflection Point Acquisition (IPFX), said Thursday it was awarded a contract from the US Department of Defense's Operational Energy Capability Improvement Fund to develop an orbital fuel depot.
The depot would enable routine in-space refueling and provide on-orbit logistics capabilities, extending spacecraft operational lifetimes, the company said.
Quantum Space said it is building the fuel depot on its Ranger platform. Financial details were not provided.
