Seek Bull Sees Mixed Operating Conditions -- Market Talk

0204 GMT - Seek's bull at Citi sees mixed operating conditions for the Australian employment-marketplace operator. Analyst Siraj Ahmed estimates job-ad volumes across Australia and New Zealand so far in Seek's 2026 fiscal year are down 1.5% on year. He tells clients in a note that, with Citi economists forecasting one more interest-rate rise in Australia, there is also downside risk to consensus expectations of a 0.5% fiscal 2027 volume decline. However, he points out that Australian wages were up 4.1% on year in May, which should support Seek in raising prices. Citi has a buy rating on the stock and a target price of 24.15 Australian dollars. Shares are down 2.65% at A$13.57. (stuart.condie@wsj.com)
