2341 GMT - History suggests travel recovers quickly after conflicts end, says Jefferies. That's one reason why it is bullish about Flight Centre. Jefferies cites short-term resident departure data published by the Australian Bureau of Statistics, which imply travel tends rebound soon after conflicts subside. "This was observed in March/April 2025 and June/July 2025 following outbursts of conflict in the Middle East," says analyst Michael Simotas. "Rapid demand recovery was similar coming out of Covid-19 as well as 2001-2003 following 9/11 and SARS." Jefferies raises its price target on Flight Centre by 3.6% to A$14.50/share. Flight Centre ended Wednesday at A$12.44.(david.winning@wsj.com; @dwinningWSJ)
