Investar Holding Raises Dividend by 9%

Investar Holding raised its quarterlydividend by about 9%, to 12 cents a share, from 11 cents a share.

The new payout, equal to 48 cents a year, represents an annual yield of about 1.6% based on Wednesday's closing price of $29.16.

The dividend is payable on July 31 to stockholders of record on June 30, the holding company of Investar Bank, National Association, said.

The company also declared a quarterly dividend of $16.25 per share to holders of its 6.5% Series A non-cumulative perpetual convertible preferred stock. The dividend is payable on July 1 to shareholders of record as of June 15.
