Market Chatter: Finland to Purchase Glide Bombs Made by RTX's Raytheon Unit

Finland is set to purchase GBU-53 SDB II glide bombs made by RTX's (RTX) Raytheon unit for F-35 fighter jets that it purchased from Lockheed Martin (LMT), Reuters reported Thursday, citing a statement from Finland's defense ministry.

No financial details were disclosed. The order will cover transport, spare parts, training, and support services, among others, according to the report.

Reuters also said Finland has previously purchased 64 F-35 jets from Lockheed Martin for $9.4 billion.

RTX and Finland's defense ministry did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' requests for comments.
