Traders fleeing Friday's selloff took refuge in companies like Kleenex-maker Kimberly-Clark. On Tuesday, they're piling into peanut butter and home-improvement supplies.
Shares in Home Depot were recently the Dow's best performers, while Jif-maker J.M. Smucker led the S&P 500. Even as the broad index slid nearly 1% Tuesday, nine of 11 eleven sectors-including real estate, healthcare, consumer staples and utilities-traded in the green.
