Lantronix (LTRX) and Cherry & White launched a portable 5G-powered connectivity platform for utilities, emergency services, and remote industrial operators, the company said Wednesday.
The Rapid Wi-Fi platform combines Lantronix's NTC-552 industrial 5G gateway with Cherry & White's wireless technology to provide enterprise-grade connectivity in remote locations where permanent networks cannot reach, it said.
Shares of Lantronix were 3.5% lower in Wednesday premarket trading.
