MGM Resorts International (MGM) can offer people irreplaceable real-world experiences in a world increasingly dominated by AI, Barry Diller, who is seeking an $18 billion takeover of the company, said in an interview, according to the Financial Times.
"There's no way any technology gets between a customer and a desire to be at a resort or any physical place," the FT quoted the Hollywood mogul as saying in an interview. "If you can offer such an experience, you have a direct clear shot to the heart and mind of a human."
Diller's People Inc. already owns 26% of MGM, the report said.
People did not immediately reply to MT Newswires' request for comment.
