Emperor Energy (ASX:EMP) submitted the revised environmental plan for the Judith-2 appraisal well, part of the Judith gas field, part of the Vic/P47 permit in the offshore Gippsland Basin in Victoria, to the National Offshore Petroleum Safety and Environmental Management Authority (NOPSEMA), according to a Friday Australian bourse filing.

The company also secured the supply of the identified long-lead time equipment required to drill the well, including the surface wellhead, surface conductor casing, and multiple casing strings, the filing said.

A contractor was selected for a site geophysical survey, planned for August, to identify any sea-bed hazards or shallow gas risk. Another contractor was selected for flow testing well.
