Guidewire Lifts FY Revenue Outlook as Tech Upgrades, AI Adoption Drive Growth

Guidewire Software raised its full-year revenue outlook as companies continue to modernize their technology and adopt artificial intelligence.

The insurance software company on Thursday boosted its revenue forecast to $1.46 billion to $1.47 billion from a previous range of $1.44 billion to $1.45 billion. Analysts surveyed by FactSet expect fiscal 2026 revenue of $1.45 billion.

Guidewire reported third-quarter net income of $16.5 million, or 19 cents a share, compared with $46 million, or 54 cents a share, a year earlier.

Adjusted earnings were 82 cents a share, topping the 74 cents a share expected by analysts polled by FactSet.

Revenue rose 27% to $372.5 million, compared with Wall Street estimates of $356 million.

Guidewire said subscription and support revenue climbed 35% to $244.7 million. License revenue declined 2% to $56 million while service revenue rose 32% to $71.8 million.

"It's clear that our strategy and market position are resonating with insurers as they focus on modernizing core systems, migrating critical business functions to our cloud platform solutions, and adopting AI across our applications," Chief Executive Mike Rosenbaum said.

The company guided for fourth-quarter revenue of $396 million to $406 million, ahead of analysts' expectations of $394 million.
