Oshkosh Gets $92M in Orders From Marine Corps

Oshkosh's defense unit received two orders totaling $92 million from the Marine Corps for a ground system for defensive and offensive fires.

The vehicle and equipment company said Monday the orders are for block 2 production of its remotely operated ground unit for expeditionary fires (ROGUE-Fires).

The block 2 configuration introduces further autonomous capabilities and expanded weapon system integration for long-range precision fires missions, Oshkosh said.

Oshkosh was initially awarded the ROGUE-Fires contract in 2022. In the time since, the platform has become the first semi-autonomous ground system fielded by the U.S. military, the company said.

Vehicle deliveries under the contract are expected to continue through 2031.
