Shares of TAT Technologies gained after the company said it received several long-term maintenance, repair and overhaul contracts with international commercial- and cargo-airline customers.

The stock rose 6.2%, to $42.86, midday Wednesday but has fallen about 4% since the start of the year.

The contracts represent revenue of about $45 million over contract terms ranging from 5 years to 10 years.

The newly awarded agreements include support across auxiliary power unit platforms as well as maintenance, repair and overhaul for heat exchangers.

"We continue to see strong demand across our MRO operations, supported by healthy booking activity and increasing engagement from both existing and new airline customers worldwide," said Chief Executive Igal Zamir.

"These agreements further enhance our revenue visibility and backlog while expanding our presence across key international airline programs," he said.
